Selenite
Selenite is named after Selene, Greek goddess of the Moon because of its moon-like glow. Exchanged between lovers, it will bring about reconciliation.
Selenite crystals are high vibration stones. They are associated with the third eye chakra and the crown chakra. In particular the white or transparent crystals have a strong effect. Place a selenite sphere light in your room to create a peaceful, safe environment.

Selenite is a kind of translucent crystal so the flame flickers slightly through the walls of the candle. Edges of the candle holders are rough which is natural to selenite. Outsides can be sometimes shiny and sometimes with whiter areas. Top of the candle holder is polished and the underside is cut flat.
The weight is fairly heavy and chunky.

Selenite is a crystallised form of gypsum and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, varying considerably in colour. It is a soft and very fragile crystal and is formed on Salt Plains, about two feet below the surface.
