Eagle and Turquoise Earrings (Sterling Silver)

Authentic Native American jewellery, made by the Navajo on the Navajo reservation in the USA. The design shows an eagle in flight on a round turquoise cabachon and turquoise beading above the feathers. The necklaces comes complete with liquid silver chain (liquid silver is a term used to describe a type of sterling silver chain made from tiny tubes of silver strung together). Within the silver liquid chain are a series of three silver and turquoise beads each side of the eagle which add colour and detail to this beautifully crafted piece.
 
Dimensions: from top of eagle wing to bottom tip of feathers is about 4.5 cms (one and three quarter inches).

The design shows an eagle in flight on a round turquoise cabachon and turquoise beading above the feathers.

Eagle - 
Eagles are powerful birds of prey. When used in jewellery or other items, the eagle symbol can represent a connection between the earth and the higher realms above, where eagles soar in the sky.

Feathers -
In Native American culture, feathers symbolise a connection between humans and the Great Spirit.

Turquoise -
Turquoise is said to be a perfect balance of male and female force and has a restful, soothing energy. Due to its balanced nature, it's a good stone to have around during the development of psychic and spiritual skills as it reminds us to be more aware of our intuition without losing track of earthly reality. As a tool, it can be beneficial for astral travellers or meditators.
