| iN THE GARDEN OF PEACE is a celebration of nature. The melodies, the ambience - all of it seems as if it was designed to accent the natural harmonics of singing birds, crickets and water sounds. Morpheo, the alias of composer, arranger and musician Ariel Niggli, takes a light, tasteful approach with this album. When music is present, it incorporates flutes, piano, and synthesizers to create a gentle, sublime atmosphere. However, Niggli also likes to let the natural ambience speak for itself. For example, "Chapter 3," from the "Under the Trees" suite, features the pure nature sounds of a woodland backed by a light, almost imperceptible singing bowls.
